When you need to ask for pre-clearance, once your project is set up, pre-clearance requests are generated automatically. You can edit details, add contracts, and send them with one click. All actions are tracked, with clear notifications, making the process smooth and transparent. Plus the music rights administrators can export as an Excel file for 3rd party authorization.
With direct communication built into the request form you can deal directly with potentially blocking issues. Each request, agreed or not, is automatically stored and linked to the relevant song in the project spot for easy reference and is also searchable in main messages.
Automated budget balancing system with over/under notification
For each project when the music budget is added to a project, the system will display a budget accounting so you can easily keep track of your spending. This includes: total music budget, assigned budget (the amount you have pre-cleared but not placed), confirmed music budget (the total value of all the license fees for music you have placed), and the remaining amount. This gives you a real-time and accurate budget overview.

When you complete a placement, our system adds it to the cue sheet with all the data and codes. They’re always accessible with one click. As you place recordings, our system builds a payment ledger in the background. The licensors get notifications when payments are sent. When you are looking for a composer, someone new, who fits your production needs, simply enter your search criteria and SCORE will find the best fits for you. You can see their work history, their showreel, decide on who might be suitable and contact them directly to discuss details. Save the best candidates for consideration. If they have an agent who represents them you will see all the contact information to make it easy to reach out.

The system will tell you, for each recording you are considering, how the percentage splits add up, if they are over or under 100%, and by how much.
Contact management system with customizable privacy wall
SyncLodge offers an intelligent contact management system with privacy controls. Music rights holders can respond to your requests without accessing your contact information, ensuring privacy. When you choose to connect, you control the contact details you share.
Permission-controlled project team access
A project team networking system, delivering overview and control of the music element of your projects with secure correspondence with the production team, composers, and all members of the team. Admin chooses who is in the team and sets the permissions for the level of their access. Admin can change these permissions at any time, lock the user’s account, or delete it. You have control.
Full contract management system
Contract sending, negotiating, revising and completion are all managed through the contract management system. With clear overview of versions and signing stages, you can easily manage all your project contracts. You are notified of all negotiation communications, revisions and signings. All securely stored for future reference.
Permission-controlled company team access
Register your company with SyncLodge and all your team members can join as an employee of your company. Company Project team admin accepts them as a company employee, sets the permissions of what they can do and what they can access inside SyncLodge. Admin can change these permissions at any time, lock the user’s account, or delete it. You have control.
Member verification
We verify all SyncLodge members to make sure they are who they say they are, that they work for the company they claim to work for and that the company has the right to negotiate a license for a song and/or recording. Verified members receive a Verified Member status , while unverified details are clearly indicated , helping you to make informed decisions.
Easy copyright holder integration
Securely communicate with all music rights holders for the music you are considering. If the copyright holder is not a member of SyncLodge, send them a pre-clearance request and the system will invite them to join for free so they can reply to the request. Keep communications clear and organized for each project.
